Situated in The Nexus Waterfall business park, which is literally across the road from Mall of Africa, this new 10-storey hotel will include 160 rooms, eight suites, conference facilities, restaurants and a breath-taking rooftop sky bar, where guests can enjoy sundowners and a view of the Magaliesberg mountain range. Construction started in March 2019 with completion estimated for mid-2021. Bet you can’t wait!
Systems Africa is installing Salto electronic locks to manage access to the guest rooms and back of house areas. Systems Africa has also installed Salto controllers in the lifts to control access to floors – guests may only access the floor where their rooms are situated.
By installing vehicle barriers controlled by Salto controllers Systems Africa has secured the building.
As an added feature the Salto system enables guests to use their smart phones to access their rooms. This means that on arrival guests don’t have to check in at Reception they can go straight to their rooms by using the Salto App which would have been activated for the duration of their stay when they book their room. Their phone will send the lift to the floor where their room is situated and open the door to their room. If enabled, the guest will also be able to access the gym, pool and spa.
